Continuing Education & Professional Development

Many professional bodies and organisations that issue qualifications require that therapists continue their education. CEUs (Continuing Education Units) are also required to maintain IMUNE International Licenses.

IMUNE supports this process in several ways:

  • IMUNE accredited courses can be taken for CEUs (provided that they are not being used for a qualification).
  • Seminars and training course operators may issue CEUs in their own right.
  • Seminars and training course operators may apply to IMUNE for their training to be approved for IMUNE CEUs.

The responsibility for CEU accreditation lies with the training organisation. IMUNE has a process and application form if an operator wishes to provide IMUNE CEU certification. Seminar participants appreciate having their attendance documented in this way.

Please email admin@imune.net requesting the IMUNE Seminar Certification document.

Why Do Qualifications Have Time Limits?
It is a requirement of most reputable natural medicine qualifications and also of allopathic medicine and other professional qualifications that practitioners update themselves in advances in their fields and continue development of their skill base.  This is recognised via the award of CEUs.

Can only IMUNE CEUs be used for Qualification Renewals?
No.  Applications can be made with submissions of other information.  There may be a fee for this.

Can IMUNE CEUs be used for other Bodies’ CEU Requirements?
In principle IMUNE has no objection.  However the application must be made by the student and IMUNE does not have the resource to deal with requests for different bodies. Generally submission of the information of the syllabus of the course, contained on the IMUNE CEU Certificate is sufficient.
